Current Designs
We currently have three artisan cutting boards designs. These durable cutting boards can last generations with proper care. These artisan cutting boards make great gifts as they will last for years to come.
One of the exciting parts of working with wood is that no two pieces are the same. Each piece for these boards are hand picked and hand arranged. There is beauty in the variations and patterns of the grain.
Our designs use edge or occasionally face grain wood. We believe this is the optimal choice between durability, ease of care, and longevity. America’s test kitchen agrees with us after they extensively tested different cutting boards they preferred edge grain boards over other types including end grain boards.
Solid Hard Maple
Hard maple is the go to hardwood for making quality breadboards that last. Its high durability and relative abundance is why it can often be seen in demanding environments like basketball courts.
No two pieces are identical with colors ranging from white to a light creamy tan, sometimes with golden or reddish tints. With proper care these maple cutting boards can last generations.

A fun fact about us is that our Grandpa Ed has a small walnut orchard in addition to keeping honeybees. His approximately 40 trees are used for nut production, but if any need to be removed we can make some extra special pieces out of that wood.
